Travel & Stay

Getting Here
Making Your Way to the Wedding

Whether you're flying in from across the country or taking the scenic route by car, we're so glad you're making the journey.

The wedding will take place in Thompson's Station, Tennessee, just south of Franklin and within easy reach of Nashville.

Here are a few details to make getting here—and making a weekend of it—as easy as possible.

By Air

Nashville International Airport — BNA

For guests traveling by air, Nashville International Airport (BNA) is the closest major airport.

BNA is approximately 28 miles from the recommended hotel in Berry Farms, and the airport recommends allowing extra time for parking, security, and heavier traffic during busy travel periods.

A little travel advice

If you're flying in on Thursday or Friday, or flying home on Sunday, we strongly recommend checking both your flight status and Nashville traffic before heading to or from the airport.

Nashville traffic can be unpredictable, and BNA itself can be particularly busy during heavier travel periods. Give yourself more time than you think you need—you'll be much happier sitting at your gate with a coffee than watching the clock from the highway.

BNA currently recommends arriving at least two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international departures.

By Car
Follow the Signs

If you're driving to the wedding, the most important thing to know is this:

You will not be able to see the house from the road.

The property sits a long way back from Thompsons Station Road East, and the driveway is considerably longer than it first appears.

When you reach the property, look for the wedding signs near the mailbox. They'll mark the entrance and guide you down the driveway toward the celebration.

Once you turn in, just keep going.

The house is there. We promise.

Parking

Parking will be available on the property. Please follow the signs when you arrive and allow yourself a little extra time to make your way in.

Where to Stay

Our Recommendation: Berry Farms

Our recommended hotel is the Hampton Inn & Suites Franklin Berry Farms, located at 7101 Berry Farms Crossing in Franklin. The hotel is just off I-65 and is a convenient home base for the wedding weekend.

It is approximately 10 minutes from the wedding venue, making it an easy drive on the big day.

The hotel offers complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, along with an outdoor pool and fitness center.

You're coming all this way, so you might as well stay awhile.

Thompson's Station, Franklin, and Nashville offer plenty to do before or after the wedding—from historic homes and charming main streets to live music, great restaurants, coffee shops, and outdoor spaces.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to spend a free afternoon.

Around Thompson's Station

Circa Grill - Located in historic Thompson's Station, Circa is a chef-driven restaurant serving Southern-inspired food with a creative twist. It's a particularly nice choice for a leisurely dinner or date night.

Company Distilling - For something a little more Tennessee, stop by Company Distilling for whiskey tastings, cocktails, craft beer, and a relaxed atmosphere. The Thompson's Station location is part of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail.

Village Pizza Company - A good low-key option for pizza, salads, and sandwiches in Tollgate Village.

1819 Coffee - Start your morning with coffee at this charming shop located on the historic Homestead Manor property.

Take a Walk
Preservation Park is a 200-acre natural and historic area with hiking trails, overlooks, and markers related to the Battle of Thompson's Station. It's a lovely option for some fresh air and a slower-paced afternoon.
